Revolutionizing access to education
We often hear that education is the gateway to success. But education isn’t equal for everyone. 1 in every 6 student lives in poverty, without basic access to educational resources. No student should have to sacrifice their college dreams because they didn’t have the money to study or pay for a standardized test. No student should have to fail a class because they don’t have a laptop at home. We at ASPIRE want to bring the resources to the students directly all the while advocating and educating for change.
O U R A P P R O A C H
Educate.
A long-term change is necessary. We are reaching out to younger students in low-income schools to train them and encourage necessary learning habits. Through this pillar, we are also advocating for policy changes that support students past socio-economic barriers and raising community awareness about this problem.
Activate.
Action time. This is more than just complaining about these issues in education. We are fundraising and collecting donations, actively helping our students through projects like ASPIRE Box and ASPIRE Network. By partnering with companies like PCs for People and Mindfish Prep, we are able to provide computers, test-prep books, and numerous other resources to our students.
